The Global Water Sustainability Center (GWSC) currently is looking to hire qualified researchers/scientists to lead advanced research and development programs related to the analyses, management & treatment of industrial and municipal water, water desalination

Principal Researcher

     - Advanced degree (prefer Ph.D. in environmental/ chemical/ petroleum/ or mechanical engineering)
     - 10 - 15 years (+) engineering and/or research experience 
     - Demonstrated ability to develop and lead technical projects
     - Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment & desalination
     - Process engineering and cost estimation expertise
     - Knowledge of petroleum industry and operations a plus

Researcher:

     - Advanced degree (prefer Ph.D. in environmental/ chemical/ petroleum/ or mechanical engineering)
     - 2 - 5 years engineering and/or research experience 
     - Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment 
     - Experience in desalination (membrane and/or thermal)
     - Knowledge of petroleum industry and operations a plus

Applied Analytical Chemist

     - Ph.D. in chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering.
     - Demonstrate experience in wet chemical methodology for the analysis of water, wastewater, and industrial waste.
     - Good knowledge and/or practical experience in chromatography to include GG, LC, Ion Chromatography, GC-MS & LC-MS
     - Good knowledge and/or practical experience in spectroscopy and elemental analysis such as ICP, UV-Vis, FTIR, and XRD.
     - Experience in method development/application for municipal/industrial water characterization.

     - Good verbal and written communication skills in English 
     - Self-starter, proactive and multi-tasking ability 
     - Willing to relocate to Doha, one of the most vibrant and fast developing cities in the Middle East.
